I have actually known this momma since high school and as an Austin family photographer, it is always so exciting to reconnect with previous clients or friends from the past. I was so excited to meet her adorable family and do their family photos! We decided to meet at the 360 bridge, which is one of my favorite locations, and do some fun photos there. Both kids were so easy and smiley the whole time! As you can tell, mom and dad are so fun and just had a blast. I didn’t even have to pose them or tell them what to do. It was so awesome to just let them do their thing and shoot away. Sometimes as an Austin family photographer, its so nice to step back, and just let the moments happen naturally. Those always seem to be the best shots and for this session, we definitely had plenty of those!

THIS may be on of my all time favorites though! I love what a sweet moment this is 🙂

As an Austin family portrait photographer, I always look forward to seeing this family and doing their family session. This time last year, we were meeting to do momma’s maternity pictures when she was expecting and its one of my favorite sessions! LOOK how amazing she looked! Then shortly after, I got to see them again for sweet Madden’s NEWBORN session. Now Madden is sitting up, babbling and growing into just the sweetest little girl. Its crazy how time flies and although I hate how fast they are growing, I ALWAYS look forward to seeing them!

I loved everything about this session. I loved how much big sister loved hugging and playing with little sister. I loved that mom and dad are so relaxed and just laugh and always have a good time even though I know family photo shoots, especially with little ones can be stressful. I love how little Madden would suck her thumb sideways and give a little smile 🙂

I cant decide which family photo I love the best, so HERE is one where Ava loved getting kisses from mom and dad and little Madden would just smile away, right on queue! HERE is another that is just perfect!!

This family was so much fun and hanging out with them made my morning as a Round Rock family photographer! Little Gracie reminds me of my little 3 year old to a T!!! She was so sweet, funny, had a ball of energy and kept me on my toes. I loved it!  Almost everytime I asked her to smile, she had to do a funny smile first before giving me the real one, which had me laughing the whole time! Towards the end of the session, she wanted her little Giraffe to be a part of the session and she was so cute positioning him all over herself and us 🙂

Mom wanted this location specifically for the amazing bridge photo and HERE is my favorite one!!

Seriously how cute is THIS face!! WOW!!

For my last session of 2014, I got to meet and do some family portraits of this this amazing family! I always get so excited when I get hired for Austin family portraits and it ends up being a large family session like this one. This large family were all in town visiting and celebrating Christmas and wanted to squeeze in some family photos with the newest addition of sweet baby Kellyn. We had planned this date in particular to work between the traveling and holidays and of course it ended up being freezing, but we decided to go ahead and shoot anyway. Even with some freezing winds, down in the 40’s, everyone was still so happy and excited to shoot. The kids were so fun and were troopers the whole time and even baby Kellyn didn’t fuss once!

After getting to know the family better, we realized that myself and two of the family members all attended the same college and even had some mutual friends in common. It really is such a small world.
