Austin Bluebonnet Photos | Hylton Family

I cannot believe I never blogged this family when they came to me to get their Austin Bluebonnet Photos. I got to meet this adorable family for the first time this past spring and I am so excited that I get to see them again for their Christmas Mini’s this weekend!

Mini sessions can be a little crazy when you have back to back families all day long, but I have been so lucky to get to meet so many awesome families like the Hylton’s who are just happy to be together and have a good time. There’s no pressure and they just go with the flow. Those situations always produce awesome family photos.

This little guy was so sweet and happy the whole time. I can’t wait to see how much he has grown for our next session.

Stay tuned for their Christmas Session!!

“Our pictures came out AMAZING! They were everything I wanted and more. Thanks so much!” – Meagan

Austin Photographer | Todd Family

Austin and all of the surrounding cities makes being an Austin Photographer so easy. There are so many cool places to photograph families and during the fall when you are doing constant shoots, its nice to have so many options. Meredith and I actually had planned a completely different location and with all the crazy weather and flooding we changed the location the night before and I am so glad we did. This is one of my favorite spots and it was even more perfect on a Sunday morning at 7am when no one is around. We had the whole place to ourselves and I just loved the way these images turned out. Sweet Claire and adorable James did so good even in the cold that morning. Mom and Dad had mentioned to Claire they would be sending these photos to Santa and during the shoot, we kept talking about how much Santa was going to love seeing all of her pictures and she would do her biggest smile! They also loved when I would play peek-a-boo and it would only take one time and they would both be smiling and Clair cracking up! I just love being an Austin Photographer and getting to capture amazing moments like these.

We had such a fun morning and I can’t wait to get to work with this adorable family again!

Austin Christmas Photos | Whisman Family

I love being able to do Austin Christmas Photos for families and reconnecting with so many past clients. I was so excited when Tracy booked her session and let me know they were expected a 3rd BOY!!! I had the pleasure of meeting this fun, spunky and outgoing family over a year ago when they came to me for Easter Mini’s. At that time, little brother Bennett wasn’t so sure about me and I don’t think we got many of him smiling, but wow, what a difference this session was. He was our little model and not only so smiley but had such a fun laugh! Big brother Alex has gotten so big since I last saw him and just as cute as I remember him before. He loved running around and exploring the farm and decorating the trees and as soon as I got him behind the camera, he was perfect!!

I am so excited about their new addition and man that little guy is going to have the BEST big brothers. I can’t wait to meet him!!

Austin Family Photographer | Brumit’s Family Christmas Mini

As an Austin Family Photographer, one of the busiest times of the year is the fall. For Christmas Mini’s this year, I decided to do them at the Elgin Tree Farm which has just been amazing! The weather on the other hand has been a little insane. The second day of Christmas Mini’s was showing a high chance of rain and storms all day so after contemplating if I should reschedule or still hold them, several families wanted to still give it a shot and I am SO glad we did. The rain literally stopped 5 minutes before this shoot and the rest of the evening was PERFECT!

My first family for this cloudy afternoon was the Brumit’s and our shoot couldn’t have gone any smoother. Sweet little Evelyn was all smiles and she had the best laugh. Whenever she would have her serious face on, dad would start jumping out from behind a tree and playing peek-a-boo and little Evie would crack up! It was infectious! I couldn’t help but smile and enjoy editing this session. So glad I got to meet this family and can’t wait to work with them again! This is what being an Austin Family Photographer is all about.

“I cannot say enough good about our session with Courtney! She had a great attention to detail and made it so fun and comfortable for our family. What sets her apart from other photographers I’ve used is that she wasn’t just trying to quickly get all of the shots she needed – she really took the time to make sure those shots were great. In the end we seriously liked every photo!  I loved how she wanted to make sure we got all of the shots we wanted.  All in all it was a great investment, fun experience, and Courtney is such a sweet person!” – Sarah

Christmas Photos in Austin, Texas | Howell Family

One of my favorite things about doing Christmas Photos in Austin, Texas has to be getting to see the Howell family for the 3rd time this year! How lucky am I?!?!

I met this fun, outgoing, friendly family back in April for their Bluebonnet photos and I adored them instantly. Kristen and Blair are the type of people you meet and just want to hang out with. Beckett has to be one of the cutest little guys and my dear, little Emerson is something else. I just got to see Emerson last month for her 1 Year Session and it was probably one of my favorite baby photo sessions to date.

Emerson wasn’t feeling too great during the Christmas photo session, so she wasn’t her usual smiley self but even under the weather, this little girl has to be one of the most laid-back babies I have had the chance to photograph.

Beckett was so fun! He wanted to play and look around and once he saw I had a wagon, he instantly wanted to play with it. After we were done with their Christmas photos, Beckett took that wagon and pulled it all over the field and in the trees. He was having a blast! I absolutely loved his energy! He was a great big brother too. At one point while Emerson was trying to walk to me, he held her hand to help her. It was too cute.

I CAN NOT wait til I get to see this family again! Hope to see them 3x next year too 🙂
