Georgetown Family Photographer | Perkins Family

I had the pleasure of meeting this awesome family the other night and it is one of the many perks of being a Georgetown Family Photographer. Erin had contacted me several weeks ago and I was completely booked out on weekends for the rest of the year so I was bummed when I didn’t think I could get them in. Then I had a break in my schedule and luckily we were able to get a date that worked! I am so glad we did! Sometimes the best sessions are the ones that are last minute and unexpected. They were just the sweetest family. Both girls were so excited from the moment I met them, they were telling me all about their dresses and where mom bought them, so cute. We had such a great time walking around and exploring. It was a chilly evening and still everyone did such a great job. At one point the girls were a little over it, so I did my go-to where I act like I am going to run and tickle them which usually always gets a laugh and in this case they loved it and I got some awesome smiles and giggles. I so enjoyed getting to do this family session and can’t wait to see them again!

Cedar Park Family Photographer | Denzin Family

As a Cedar Park family photographer, I get so excited to meet new clients, reconnect with past clients or even reconnect with old high school friends. Kristine and I haven’t been in touch since probably graduation which was…oh goodness 15 years ago, is that right? HA!  It was so great to see her and meet her adorable family. Due to the crazy weather, we had to reschedule from our original date and I am so thankful we did now. After nonstop glummy days for the past couple of weeks, the sun was out and it was perfect for this session and this location. It was a nice change of pace from the rain and clouds we have been having lately. Kristine is a photographer herself so it was awesome that her family knew exactly what to do and they were even helping pose each other. Ryleigh and Aubrey loved the camera and did amazing! Little Clark, was a little more interested in exploring than getting his photo taken which is exactly what a 2 year old is suppose to do 😉 Luckily  he stayed interested in me long enough to get some great shots.

Families like this is why I love getting to be a Cedar Park family photographer. I so enjoyed our shoot and time together. Can’t wait to see this family again!

Austin Family Photographer | Simpson Family

Being an Austin family photographer during the holiday season is so much fun. This year for Christmas Mini’s, I rented out the Elgin Tree Farm and was so excited when this gorgeous family booked their family session with me. They have a tradition of doing Christmas Tree Farm photos every year so I was excited to help them continue the tradition after moving back to Austin recently. Of course, with this crazy Austin weather, it started to rain right when their session was to begin. We decided to wait it out and after only a couple of minutes, the rain had passed and I am so glad it did.

I so loved getting to meeting this family! Ashley had reached out to me when I first posted my mini’s but the days and times didn’t work for them. Due to all the reschedules, I had to push several sessions a week and had enough time to open one more slot and luckily it fit their schedules! She coordinated the entire family perfectly and little Emme and Giselle were absolutely adorable! They were so sweet together and were making each other laugh and giggle which made photographing them easy!! Once we started doing some family photos, the girls were exhausted and made us work for it but held out long enough for me to get a couple good family shots and I am so glad they did. Can’t wait to get to work with this family again!

Austin Family Photographer | Gilmore Family

Meeting families like the Gilmore’s, makes being an Austin Family Photographer the best job ever. At the beginning of the year a friend on Facebook posted asking for prayers for their good friends. The husband had just found out he had a type 4 brain tumor and would be starting chemotherapy. They also had decided they would be moving out of Texas back home to be closer to their families. I wanted to do something, so I reached out to Megan to see they would be interested in a family session to remember Austin and I was so excited she responded. We actually did this session back in March and picked the iconic 360 Bridge area which I just love! Meeting this family and doing their session has been one of my favorite things of being a family photographer. They were all such a joy to be around. During the session, Megan and Charlie would stop to catch a glance at each other and just smile with so much love in their eyes and it was sweet to see what a bond they all have. Their three boys were just perfection. Like boys do, as soon as I got a posed photo, they went into laughing, giggling and of course wrestling while mom and dad just sat back smiled and laughed. You can just feel the love. I hope I get to see this family at some point in the future when they come back to visit.

Austin Children’s Photographer | Milam Kids!

Being an Austin Children’s Photographer, I get to meet some pretty cool kids and this session was was an another example of how awesome my clients are! Tonight I got to hang out with these three cuties!! Maggie, Annie and Gage were so fun and had some seriously awesome personalities! They were so excited about doing photos. Right when we met up, they were asking me all kinds of questions about where we were going, where we were going to shoot and what all we were going to do with the props I brought. They loved the wagon I brought for this shoot and they wanted to ride in it and pull each other around so when it was time to use it, they were so excited! They even wanted to all sit in it and be pulled back in it once the shoot was over, they gave their mom and I are good workout :).

The entire evening sweet Maggie was so chill and easy-going. Miss Annie was spunky and as soon as I told her to pose however she wanted, she definitely brought some personality! Little Gage is all boy and OMG adorable! They definitely made tonight’s shoot easy and it reminds me why I love being an Austin Children’s Photographer.
