Austin Family Photography | Noble Family

I love that I get to do Austin family photography and meet families like the Noble’s, who not only are some of the nicest people but such a happy family. We had planned to do their family photo session today and with this crazy Austin weather, we weren’t sure if it would rain out or be fine. It looked like there would be a break in the rain for the rest of the afternoon, but would be pretty cloudy so we decided to meet a little earlier than planned to make sure we didn’t miss too much light. It was in the low 40’s and FREEZING but this family did awesome anyway. Little Henry wasn’t so sure about photos at first and brought his penguin buddy, but quickly warmed up and we were able to get some amazing photos. After a bit, we were all feeling the brutal cold, especially Henry so to make sure we kept getting those great smiles and giggles from him we kept telling him to “not smile” which of course worked every time and he gave me the biggest grin. Perfection!

After chatting with mom a little, we realized we knew so many of the same people and even went to the same high school for several years. It really is a small world, and I love the people I run into or get to connect with while doing Austin family photography 🙂

Cedar Park Child Photographer | Patten Family

As a Cedar Park Child Photographer, I always hope the children will warm up to me,  smile and enjoy their time with me. Well these kids were amazing, and thank goodness because we literally did this shoot in 5 minutes. It might have been my fastest shoot ever. Not because we planned it that way, but if you look at the photos, within a minute of starting, these dark clouds came in and it started to pour. Luckily I was able to get several good shots in before all of that. You can even see the rain in the last photo, which I sort of love. This whole family were just troopers! Even as it started to lightly sprinkle and slowly rain more and more, the kids had no issues. They smiled and laughed and it didn’t even phase them which makes being a Cedar Park child photographer so fun and easy! We decided to run to the cars and try and take cover to see if the rain would pass but as we were running, it was coming down so much we decided to call it since by then everyone was soaking wet. I was so bummed we didn’t get to finish this family shoot but plan to do a makeup to get some more shots so stay tuned for more of the awesome Patten family!

Austin Urban Lifestyle Photographer | Hobby Family

When I got into photography, I never imaged that being an Austin Urban Lifestyle Photographer would end up being one of my passions but it is! Urban shots have been my #1 request this fall and I LOVE them! Even with the grey sky’s and no sunlight, this location always looks amazing and never disappoints! More as a Austin Urban Lifestyle Photographer Sessions HERE and HERE.

I was so excited to meet this new family and loved that they specifically wanted this location for Christmas cards. Mom and Dad were so nice and relaxed and I loved that they just went with the flow. Little Brooks was so adorable and at first was a little shy but after about 2.5 seconds, he was warmed up and had not only the best smile but the best laugh! He loves Mickey Mouse and so whenever I needed a good smile or laugh we would have him say “underpants” and it worked like a charm every time!

Austin Fall Family Photos | Macina Family

This year for my Austin fall family photos, I have been switching it up between urban and nature locations. I was so excited when Laurie contacted me to do their fall family photos again. We had such a great time at LAST YEARS SESSION and my the kids have grown! They were just as sweet and fun as I remembered them. Laurie and I were trying to think of some different  places so we picked this location which I had never shot at and we all ended up loving it! The trees were amazing! We ended up exploring for a bit and maybe even a little too long because once we got back to the main park the sun had already set. Our time together was really like friends just hanging out which I love and always makes for a relaxed and fun session. This has to be one of the sweetest families and I so enjoyed getting to see them again! Can’t wait for our next session!!

Round Rock Family Photographer | Clark Family

I love anytime I get to see this awesome family and luckily for me, being a Round Rock Family Photographer, I got to see them and do their fall family photos! Mom always does a fantastic job matching and finding a pop of color to coordinate with the whole group. HERE is last year’s shoot. This year she wanted a “rustic” feel so we picked this spot which ended up being perfect! The old barn and hay we found ended up being perfect. If you can’t already tell from the images, this is one tight-knit little crew. Mom and Dad do such a great job at staying relaxed and going with the flow, so it makes my job, as a Round Rock Family Photographer, so easy. The girls are all so connected and absolutely love each other. It is so fun to watch them together. During the shoot, they would forget all about me and get lost in their own little world and just laugh. If only every session was this fun and easy.
