Austin Family Bluebonnet Photographer | Lovelace

Oh the joy of bluebonnet season. As an Austin Family Bluebonnet Photographer, this season completely stresses me out! When will they bloom? Will the fields be full and please oh please rain gods, keep the rain away! Then magically every year the sessions go great and I get to work with so many amazing families!

This year in particular, I got to re-connect with some awesome returning clients. I also got to meet so many wonderful new families, this one in particular. I absolutely adored getting to know them better. Big sister Lily absolutely loved the flowers and probably would have taken a bundle home. Sweet little Annika was an absolute doll! She was so easy going and happy the entire session. When mom asked me to do her 6 month photo session in the coming weeks, I was overjoyed. It is one of my absolute favorite ages to photograph.

P.S. If you are anything like me and love to get massages, Jani is your girl. I started going to her shortly after our session and WOW! Seriously wow!! She is amazing and you need to book her ASAP! Check her out HERE and do yourself a favor and get her scheduled.

Steiner Ranch Family Child Photographer | McNutt Family

For this early 7am family shoot, mom and I had actually decided on a park close by their house, but once we got there, we decided instead to head out to this gorgeous little lake area and I am so glad we did! I had actually never shot here before, but always wanted to, so when I mentioned it, mom and dad were completely on board and so we headed that way! Right when we arrived, Connor was exploring and checking out the boats and the water. Then once it was time to start shooting, he did such a good job and was amazing every time I asked him to smile and pose. I was so impressed with how easy going he was! During the sibling shots, he was so sweet with little Claire. He was hugging and kissing on her without any queues from me or mom and dad. I just sat back and snapped away! This fun family made my job as a Steiner Ranch family child photographer so easy.

Although its so hard to pick my very favorite from this session, THIS is definitely at the top of my list! Too cute!

Only a few remaining bluebonnet slots left, see HERE to sign up!!

Austin Lifestyle Newborn Photographer | Beau

“Our family had such an amazing experience with Courtney- from start to finish. I contacted her a few short days before having my son, so I wasn’t sure that she could fit us in on time for newborn pictures and I had many questions about the vision I had for the shoot. Not only did she respond almost immediately, but she took the time to answer my questions, make me feel confident about the shoot by going over lighting, colors, clothing, etc., and never rushed any of my decisions- all before we had even booked the session. Fast forward to the morning of our shoot, my 2 year old woke up extra early and was a tired mess by our scheduled appointment time. We knew Courtney would have her work cut out for her! However, she immediately made us all feel comfortable and did such a great job with both our toddler and our newborn. Although we were a bit of a circus, she never once made us feel that way and instead made it feel easy and fun.  We were shocked to hear how quickly our gallery was up and even more surprised with the way our pictures turned out. We absolutely love them and still can’t believe she was able to capture so many great shots! We can not say enough great things about Courtney, and will be singing her praise to everyone we know.” -Melissa

I so loved getting to meet this amazing family for Beau’s lifestyle newborn session! As an Austin lifestyle newborn photographer, I now love getting ready for these sessions at my clients home. Melissa and I had been chatting for a couple of weeks in preparation for the session and I just loved getting to know her. Melissa is actually a personal trainer and after only giving birth a week prior, she looked absolutely amazing!! Check out her business Facebook page HERE if you’re interested in contacting her for a session.

When I arrived at their house, big brother was so excited and full of energy! He was having a blast playing and jumping around on the bed and giving me his best smiles. However, like a 2 year old, he was over it shortly there after but luckily we had already gotten some amazing photos! Baby Beau did so good! Even though he was too strong for my swaddles, he was happy and content and let us pose him with no problem.

I absolutely loved this family and this session. I can NOT wait to work with them in the future and see these sweet boys grow up.

Austin Kid Photographer | Akins Family

I seriously had a BLAST with this family and as an Austin kid photographer, Addison was definitely one of the easiest kids I have had the pleasure of photographing!

Autumn and I had been in touch several days before planning where the session should be and what sort of setting they were interested in. They picked one of my favorite locations! Of course, it happened to be really chilly on the day of our shoot but we decided to go ahead and everyone did great!

At first Addison was a little shy but quickly warmed up and did so amazing. She was a little model and I had so much fun posing her! Since she was so easy going, I decided to try some poses I hadn’t had the chance to try, see HERE, and they turned out so good! They are some of favorites images. Mom and Dad were some of the nicest people and I so enjoyed meeting them and getting to work with them. I can’t wait to see them again in the future!

Bluebonnet Season is right around the corner! Spots are still available for Bluebonnet Mini’s. For more information click HERE to get a spot!

Austin Newborn Lifestyle Photographer | Thomas Family

“Courtney did such a wonderful job with the newborn pictures for our daughter! Long story short, we came to Courtney in a crunch, needing newborn pictures as soon as possible. She fit us into her schedule and never made us feel rushed at all. She was so amazing with our newborn and our toddler; the epitome of patience and kindness. As wild as the toddler was during the photo shoot, we have no idea how Courtney got the amazing photos she did of big sister and baby— you would never know she was in a full toddler meltdown based on the angelic pictures that came from the shoot. We are so happy with Courtney’s work and can’t recommend her enough.” – Chelsey

Several months ago I had been contemplating becoming an Austin newborn lifestyle photographer, and after my first several sessions, I was hooked. So when Chelsey contacted me for her lifestyle session, I couldn’t have been more excited. She came to me after Quinncey was already almost two weeks old, so we knew we had to get her session in soon. We spoke several times over the next couple of days, preparing for the session, so the day of went great! Both Chelsea and her husband Trent, were so relaxed and excited for the session. Big sister Elliott, like most 2 year olds wasn’t too thrilled for photos at first but then got in to it and was hamming it up for me!

I love the last photo and how special it was to include all of dad’s rodeo stuff. So fun!

Loved working with this family and can’t wait to see them again!
